High-Risk Pregnancy

The physicians at Cheyenne Women’s Clinic have years of experience caring for women and their unborn babies in high-risk pregnancy situation, which is a condition that puts the mother, fetus, or both at a higher-than-normal risk for complications. If you fall into this category, you may be experiencing or have experienced:

  • Diabetes
  • Multiple pregnancy losses
  • Hypertension
  • Previous pregnancies involving preeclampsia
  • Previous cesarean births
  • Multiples (twins, triplets, etc.)

Every high-risk pregnancy and situation is different, and we will tailor our care to your specific needs, which may include:

  • Ultrasound or non-stress testing to monitor the wellbeing of the fetus
  • Watching for signs of preterm labor by following cervical lengths or testing for fetal fibronectin (a protein which may help identify preterm labor)
