Gynecology

Gynecology services at Cheyenne Women’s Clinic include premier women’s care across the spectrum, from well-woman exams and birth control, to managing menopause and PMS, to treating more complex conditions, such as endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, vaginal reconstruction, and incontinence. No matter what your situation, our experienced gynecology experts are all board-certified physicians who can provide the best women’s care in a variety of situations.

Diagnostic and Treatment Procedures

If you’re looking for a gynecology specialist in Cheyenne to provide a specific gynecological procedure or diagnosis, we have the ability to perform a number of diagnostic and treatment procedures in our comfortable, state-of-the-art office, including:

  • Diagnostic ultrasound – We can use ultrasound technology to help diagnose and manage gynecologic problems with the uterus, ovaries, and Fallopian tubes, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and lesions.
  • Diagnostic laparoscopy for cysts, lesions, fibroids, and endometriosis – Laparoscopy is an alternative to open surgery for some gynecologic conditions. It uses a slender, lighted telescope that your doctor inserts into your body through a small incision in your navel and can help make or confirm a diagnosis.
  • Colposcopy – A colposcopy is a procedure that your doctor may use to closely examine your cervix, vagina, and vulva, especially if your Pap test or pelvic exam came back with abnormal results. The procedure uses a colposcope, which is a lighted magnifying device that allows him or her to see areas of concern better than with the naked eye.
  • Cryoablation for abnormal uterine bleeding (Her Option or NovaSure) – This procedure uses a medical device that emits cold temperatures to freeze the lining of the uterus (the endometrium) to help control abnormal uterine bleeding.
  • Permanent birth control – We can provide tubal ligation (“getting your tubes tied”)  or a non-surgical option called Essure.

Maybe you’re a teenager ready for your first annual exam. You are post-menopausal and are concerned about osteoporosis. Or you’re somewhere in between. Our compassionate gynecologists are ready to ensure your health is at its best.

You have done so much to make me feel comfortable.
