At Cheyenne Women’s Clinic, we have the ability to perform a number of diagnostic and treatment procedures in our comfortable, state-of-the-art office, including:
- Diagnostic Ultrasound – We can use ultrasound technology to help diagnose and manage gynecologic problems with the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and lesions.
- Colposcopy – A colposcopy is a procedure that your provider may use to closely examine your cervix, vagina, and vulva, especially if your Pap test or pelvic exam came back with abnormal results. The procedure uses a colposcope, which is a lighted magnifying device that allows him or her to see areas of concern better than with the naked eye.
- Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP) – This procedure removes abnormal cells from your cervix using a thin wire loop that acts like a scalpel to cut away a thin layer of your cervix. Your doctor may use this procedure if you have been diagnosed as having HSIL or received another type of abnormal cervical cancer screening result.
- Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) – If you are having difficulty becoming pregnant, your doctor can place healthy sperm in your uterus as close to the time of ovulation as possible to improve your chances of conception.
If you need a procedure that we don’t perform in-office such as a more involved surgery, your doctor will perform it at High Plains Surgery Center or Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. For procedures or treatments not performed by CWC providers, your doctor will refer you to another physician, but he or she will remain involved with your care.
After going to another clinic in Cheyenne that didn’t treat me as a priority, it was a breath of fresh air stepping into Cheyenne Women’s Clinic. The entire staff was amazing, but Dr. Dozier was exceptional. She was kind, patient & answered any questions I had with great detail. I will never not recommend her. All of my appointments I’ve attended through the Women’s Clinic have been amazing the nurses and doctors have been lots of help throughout my whole pregnancy with lots of advice and support, I love every person from there they definitely are a welcoming and loving place!
