Women’s Health

At Cheyenne Women’s Clinic, we specialize in women’s health at all stages of life and providing assistance with conditions specific to women. We can help you relieve the symptoms of PMS and menopause – hormone replacement therapy might be right for you. If you’ve reached menopause and you’re concerned about osteoporosis, a DEXA bone scan will help determine the health of your bones. For girls and young women, the HPV vaccine can provide protection against the virus that causes some forms of cancer. We are experts in all areas of women’s health, so if you have any questions at all, please contact us.

Immunizations

Are you up to date on your immunizations? This immunization chart lists common vaccines for adults and how often you should receive them. If you are pregnant, talk to us about which vaccines are safe during pregnancy.  The flu vaccine is safe for pregnant women, and we recommend it, as pregnant women and their unborn babies are at a higher risk of developing complications from the flu. Pregnant women should also receive a booster shot against pertussis (whooping cough) in the form of the Tdap vaccine in their third trimester of pregnancy.
