Dr. Stormie Carter, MD
Dr. Stormie Carter is excited to be a part of the Cheyenne Women’s Clinic family and to serve the people of Cheyenne and its surrounding communities. She moved to Cheyenne following her completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She graduated summa cum laude from Letourneau University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a biological concentration and a minor in Spanish studies.
Dr. Carter believes in patient empowerment through education and enjoys helping individuals to make health care choices consistent with their unique goals. She believes in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to all patients regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, family planning goals, race, ethnicity, preferred language, age, habitus, religion or substance use history.
In her free time, Dr. Carter enjoys spending time with her husband and rescued pup, painting pet portraits, hiking surrounding trails and laughing at jokes.
